Commerce Under Secretary to Highlight Florida’s Innovation and Competitiveness

Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Jon Dudas will speak at Walt Disney World to highlight President Bush's American Competitiveness Initiative. Under Secretary Dudas will also present an Export Achievement Award to NR Electronics, an Orlando small business.

USPTO event celebrating Florida’s competitiveness and innovation

Learn about U.S. government efforts to curb theft of intellectual property (IP), the importance of intellectual property to the economy of Florida, and the value of IP protection to organizations such as Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando theme parks.

A question and answer session will follow immediately after the speech.
