Congress has appropriated the 2008 Salmon Disaster Funds, however the Department of Commerce has not yet released the funds. We anticipate the funds will become available in late September.

Application forms will be mailed to ocean fishermen, processors, wholesalers, and charterboat owners based on information provided to PSMFC by the California Department of Fish and Game, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. Businesses affected by the closure can download the application forms once they are available. All applicants must be licensed permit holders or have purchased a business license or permit in 2007.
