The United States Attorney for the Middle District of Florida is
the Chief Federal Law Enforcement Officer for the District. The United States Attorney enforces the
federal criminal laws in the Middle District of Florida in the
United States Courts, represents agencies of the
United States in civil cases, and argues on behalf of the United
States to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
The District includes 35 of the 67 counties in the State of Florida
and extends from the Florida-Georgia border near Jacksonville to the
southern most boundary of Naples (see map).
The headquarters for the United States Attorney's Office is located in Tampa
and there are staffed branch offices in Jacksonville, Orlando, and
Ft. Myers.
