To ensure fair and impartial justice for all citizens and client agencies in the Northern District of Alabama by zealously representing their legal rights through civil affirmative and defensive representation and through criminal prosecution of federal law violators; to provide federal leadership/partnership with local/state/federal law enforcement entities District-wide to ensure public safety through education/prosecution efforts designed to prevent/reduce the threat of terrorism, violence especially connected with youth drug abuse and firearms, white collar fraud and juvenile victimization; to seek just punishment for violators and protection/services for victims; and to be effective and efficient public servants and protect the public trust.
