Ecotoxicology Research Featured in Science News

Center scientist Nat Scholz and his ecotoxicology team's research on salmon olfaction was recently highlighted in an issue of Science News. The article describes the emerging awareness that water pollution disrupts chemically-mediated signaling in a wide variety of aquatic species. Over the past several years, the team has shown how pollutants such as pesticides and copper can disrupt anti-predator and homing behavior in salmon. more...
