Children's Safety Network

CSN is a resource center for maternal and child health and injury prevention professionals in State and Territorial health departments who are committed to reducing injuries and violence among children and adolescents. CSN staff provides expertise, resources, and contacts on any injury topic and can help you develop, implement, and evaluate injury and violence prevention activities.

Spotlight on the States

Training Role Models in Rhode Island. August, 2008
Men2B is an innovative role model training program that helps men encourage boys to make healthy decisions. Created by the Division of Community, Family Health, and Equity, Men2B addresses many issues of interest to injury and violence prevention and Maternal and Child Health professionals, including youth violence, bullying, and intimate partner violence. The program teaches men to communicate effectively with adolescent boys, recognize risk behaviors, assist boys in developing good character and habits, and make supportive referrals to additional resources.
