Senior Advisors to Brief Press on the Latest Developments in Iraqi Refugee Issues Senior Coordinator for Iraqi Refugee Issues Ambassador James B. Foley and Senior Adviser to the Secretary of Homeland Security for Iraqi Refugees Lori Scialabba will brief the press on developments in the Iraqi refugee admissions and assistance programs. The briefing will take place on Friday, September 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the State Department’s Press Briefing Room (2209). This briefing is ON-THE-RECORD /ON-CAMERA.
Media representatives planning to attend this briefing but who do not have a State Department building pass must enter through the 23rd Street entrance of the State Department building, and should allow adequate time for security processing.
Attendees must present one of the following press credentials: (1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver’s license or passport).
