Major Illicit Drug Producing Countries for FY 2008 - Certification Determinations

Assistant Secretary for the Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement David T. Johnson will brief reporters on the release of the annual report on the Major Illicit Drug Producing Countries for Fiscal Year 2008 today, Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. in the State Department Press Briefing Room (2209).

This on-the-record, on-camera briefing is open for press coverage. Members of the press who do not have a State Department building pass must be escorted to and from the briefing room by a State Department employee.

Press escort will be from the C Street Lobby at 4:20 p.m.

Media representatives may attend this briefing upon presentation of one of the following:
(1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver’s license or passport).
