Established in 1968, the primary responsibility of the CERC library is to meet the information needs of the CERC staff. The CERC library is a specialized collection relating to the fields of fishery biology, ecology, microbiology, environmental toxicology, fish behavior, invertebrate zoology, statistics, biochemistry, environmental and analytical chemistry and large river ecosystem.

Normal hours of operation are 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (CST), Monday-Friday.
The CERC Library is open to visitors during normal business hours. The library is closed when the librarian is not present. We encourage visitors to call before visiting to ensure the library is open. All materials must be used in the library or requested through interlibrary loan services through their local library.
