U.S. Department of State Foreign Affairs Network

The Department of State Foreign Affairs Network is a cooperative initiative between the Bureau of Public Affairs at the United States Department of State and the Federal Depository Library at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). The Office of Public Communication in the State Department's Bureau of Public Affairs (PA/PC) manages the information content and design/organization of the web sites at http://www.state.gov and http://secretary.state.gov. PA/PC also coordinates release of information on the Internet for the State Department in Washington, D.C., ensuring that information on servers used by other bureaus/offices, such as the Bureau of Consular Affairs (travel.state.gov), is linked with the main homepage at www.state.gov. The Federal Depository Library at the University of Illinois at Chicago provides technical support for the web sites at www.state.gov and secretary.state.gov.
