REIS — download estimates and software

The REIS estimates and software are available here for download as one large compressed installation file. Please e-mail or call us for help.

The REIS DVD is available as product number RCN-0853. To order the actual DVD product call 202-606-5360 or e-mail reis@bea.gov, and ask for the REIS DVD.

Latest update news

1. Installation errors— Users may receive errors when installing this product relating to access privileges. In most cases pressing the "Ignore" button will bypass the problem and allow for a successful installation. If you still have problems there is an alternate download (Self-extracting ZIP • 109,634 KB) to try. Feedback on the alternate download is appreciated.
2. New estimates for 2006 became available. The years 2004-2005 were revised from the previous release of April 2007. Population and per capita estimates were revised back to 2000.
3. There were several changes to metropolitan area definitions.
4. The README.TXT file was unfortunately not updated. Read "2005" as "2006" in that file.
