Nidhi Jain, MD, MPH
Dr. Jain’s current projects include evaluating US physician’s knowledge about human papillomavirus (HPV) and their testing practices for HPV; a chlamydia screening pilot project with the Health Resources and Services Administration among federally-qualified primary care clinics; and an evaluation of STD and hepatitis prevention services for HIV-infected MSM who are in HIV care. Dr. Jain’s research interests include understanding how to translate research into primary care practice, preventing health disparities, and promoting women’s health care. She is also interested in health systems research. Dr Jain was an Epidemic Intelligence Services officer at CDC from 2002-2004 with the National Immunization Program. Before moving to Atlanta, she was a primary care physician in the San Francisco Bay Area for 6 years and had completed a Family Medicine residency at the University of California-San Francisco and an MPH from the University of California at Berkeley.
