Please reject the proposed regulations mandating audible and tactile warnings at all signalized intersections in the United States. These proposals aside from the monumental cost are not needed in the final analysis on a blanket basis.

If adopted on a piece meal basis they will promote further segregation of blind and visually impaired persons by establishing the expectation that they can and should only travel using these devices. This will result in further negative attitudes and oppression of these people, increase their unemployment and isolation in society.

Reject these regulations as proposed.
