It has been brought to my attention that you are looking for feedback regarding the use of accessible pedestrian signals and detectable warnings for crossing streets. I would like to add my voice in favor of these much needed safety considerations. I believe these safeguards should be put in place to benefit not only the blind, but also those with certain other disabilities as well as many of our elderly population. I am asking for your support, and that of your colleagues, in consideration of these measures. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Ms. Carla Burke
