I want to add my voice in support for the recommendations of the Pedestrian Right of Way Advisory Committee. I support their recommendations wholeheartedly. As a blind traveler, I need that extra measure of safety presented by detectable warnings and accessible pedestrian signals. I feel these recommendations will contribute to the safety of all citizens, not simply those who are blind or visually
impaired, and that is why they need to be implemented.
