I strongly support the recommendations in the Prowac Report. If I am to remain mobile and safe as a blind traveler, I need the access provided by accessible traffic signals. Every government official or city engineer who has deemed a crossing safe soon deemed it unsafe when asked to cross the very same intersection under the blindfold. Try it and see if you can then support the recommendations needed to keep us alive.
