Dear Access Board,

I am opposed to the universal installation of audible pedestrian signals and detectable warnings. The cost of these concern me where the benefit of them being installed at every intersection in 99% of the cases is not necessary.

I also have concerns about noise pollution. I could just imagine the level of noise 24 hours a day with most traffic lights coo cooing and tweet tweeting.

If there is a surplus of tax dollars, which I don't imagine there is, it would be better spent on other programs for the blind and not some device that most blind people find unnecessary.

Thank you,

Barbara Wright
