I am writing to state that I am in favor of accessible traffic signals. My daughter is 18 years old and totally blind. She has been trained to do street crossings without this access, but when there is quite a bit of noise it is very hard to do this. Sometimes I have seen her wait 5-7 minutes until she feels safe enough to cross a street, and this is with training!

I believe that accessible signals should be placed at every intersection there is a button to push to make it easier for blind persons to become more independent in life, they have been proven to work and should be used.

Sincerely,
