I am Garry Adams, [ ... ]. I write this via the computer of a friend, that I may give my opinion on Audible Pedestrian Signals.

You should know that there are two kinds of blind persons. One cries: "Take care of me; I am helpless because of my blindness." The second says: "My blindness is simply an inconvenience and independence is my goal." I vote with the latter. Audible Pedestrian Signals should not be mandated unless there is CLEAR and urgent statistical support. The pity sympathy approach is a failed policy.

Sincerely,

Garry Adams
