Hello,

My name is William Mlynmarski, and I am a Visually Impaired Citizen, who is also a Guide Dog user. I am in support of Audible Signals, installed at intersections.

I was always taught that you should use whatever is available to you to make your traveling safe. I live in the Downtown Portland area. As we speak, road construction, as well as building construction is being accomplished around the area. This has made traveling in the downtown area more hazardous for me. I believe that providing audible signals in the downtown area would make my life, as well as my Guide Dogs, less hazardous. I wish to point out, that in Tokyo, Japan, there are audible signals at all major intersections. I was informed that these audible signals not only help to control pedestrian traffic, but motor vehicle traffic.

Thank you for your interest.
