The National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) is joining the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) in PA-06-503 titled “Predoctoral Training at the Interface of the Behavioral and Biomedical Sciences (T32),” published August 1, 2006.  NINR is committed to training new investigators , and to extending science by integrating the biological and behavioral sciences, with attention to strategies for encouraging young investigators and members of groups underrepresented in science.

The Institute seeks biobehavioral science employing new technologies to research questions, improve research methods, and develop the scientists of the future.
