About the National Capital Region (NCR)A message from the Regional Administrator As the Regional Administrator for GSA's National Capital Region (NCR), I would like to take this opportunity to outline the principles that drive our great organization. GSA's mission is always to help you achieve your agency’s mission. We strive to accomplish this by providing for the federal government’s workplace needs through the acquisition of office space, equipment, supplies, telecommunications and information technology. As we work to enable our federal customers to accomplish their missions, we never lose sight of our duty to serve as an effective steward for the American taxpayer. GSA places great importance on its dual role of serving the federal government and the American people. NCR is currently working on many new projects. WITS3 will soon replace WITS 2001. A new Food and Drug Administration Campus is underway in White Oak, Maryland. Modernization of the U.S. Department of the Interior Headquarters in Washington, DC is continuing. NCR has completed several noteworthy projects recently:
