  • Interpersonal skills
  • Oral and written communication
  • Technical competence
Who is eligible?
FSA and FAS National Office employees
Nominees must:
  • Be full-time permanent Federal employees
  • Be based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area
  • Be at the GS-5 through GS-7 or equivalent level
  • Have potential leadership qualities and abilities
  • Have the potential and motivation to complete all requirements of the program

Mid-summer
Nomination Process
Self-Nomination--Submit:
  • Program Nomination Form, including supervisory signature
  • A statement written by the first-line supervisor or Agency Nominating Official that assesses the applicant's potential
  • Current OF-612 or SF-171 or resume
  • Written statement of 2 pages or less, addressing how this training will improve performance in current and expected job assignments
  • List of formal training courses taken in last 5 years
