DOC INMATE WALKS AWAY
 
SOUTH FORK FOREST CAMP, Tillamook, Ore- An inmate walked away early Sunday morning from the South Fork Forest Camp.
 
Donald Andrew Bennett, 38, a minimum custody inmate serving a 3-year sentence for multiple counts of burglary and unauthorized use of a vehicle, apparently walked away from the camp in the early morning. His release date was December 24, 2010.
 
Inmate Bennett was discovered missing during a procedural inmate count around 2 a.m.
The Forest camp is a work program that is operated jointly with the Department of Forestry. It is a non-fenced facility.
 
Inmate Bennett arrived at SFFC in May of 2008 and works on an outside Forestry crew.
Bennett is 6'0", 180 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and numerous tattoos.
