Inmate Commits Suicide at Snake River Correctional Institution
Today at approximately 4:08 pm inmate Dannie Ray Peck was found dead in his cell at the Snake River Correctional Institution in Ontario, Oregon.
The Oregon State Police are on site, along with the Malheur County District Attorney investigating the scene.
The manner of death appears to be suicide. The investigation is continuing.
Inmate Peck, 42 was admitted to prison on August 24, 2006 for a life sentence from Coos County, Oregon for aggravated murder.
