Inmate Jerome Brudos Passes Away
At approximately 5:10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, inmate Jerome Brudos, 67, passed away of natural causes in the Oregon State Penitentiary Infirmary.
Inmate Brudos was admitted to the Department of Corrections on June 27, 1969, from Marion County for three counts of Murder and was serving three life sentences. Inmate Brudos was the longest incarcerated inmate in the Oregon Department of Corrections.
