Oregon Dept. of Corrections: Inmate walks away from Salem work crew.
An inmate walked away this morning from a minimum-custody crew working on the grounds of the Oegon State Hospital in Salem. The inmate, Timoteo Gonzalez-Rios, Jr., is 5'7", weighs 210 pounds, with black hair and brwn eyes. He was wearing a navy blue t-shirt and Prison Blues denim jeans. He was last seen about 7:15 a.m.
Gonzalez-Rios ws admitted to prison on May 3, 2005, and was due to be released on September 22, 2007. He is serving a sentence for Unauthoized Use of Vehicle. The Oregon Department of Corrections Fugitive Apprehension Unit, the Oregon State Police, and local law enforcement agencies are investigating.
