Department of Corrections Seeks Fugitive

The Oregon Department of Corrections Fugitive Apprehension Unit is asking for the public´s assistance in locating an inmate who walked away from a minimum-custody work crew in Salem on Tuesday, June 1.
 
Joshua Brown, 19, is a white male, 5´11", 150 lbs., with blonde hair and brown eyes. He was last seen at 2:50 p.m., and was wearing Prison Blues denim jeans and a blue work shirt, both of which had "inmate" stenciled in orange.
 
Brown is serving 19 months for car theft and identity theft from Jackson County. He was admitted to prison in February.
 
Investigators from the Department of Corrections and the Oregon State Police are focusing their search on the Grants Pass/Medford areas.
 
Anyone with information on Brown´s whereabouts is asked to contact the non-emergency number of their local law enforcement agency or the Department of Corrections Fugitive Apprehension Unit at (503) 945-0976.
