The Oregon Department of Corrections Fugitive Apprehension Unit is seeking information regarding the whereabouts of Timothy Counsil, a minimum-custody inmate who escaped from custody on Monday, May 27.
 
Counsil, 35, had been incarcerated at South Fork Forest Camp near Tillamook. South Fork Forest Camp is an unfenced minimum-security prison that houses 157 inmates who perform reforestation work on the Tillamook Burn.
 
When last seen, Counsil was wearing green Nomax pants, a dark blue inmate sweatshirt, and brown work boots. He is described as a white male with brown hair and green eyes. He is 5’11" tall and weighs 190 lbs.
 
Counsil was serving 26 months from Multnomah County on six counts of identity theft. He was admitted to prison in February 2002.
