Inmate Walks Away from TRCI Work Crew
At approximately 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, a minimum-custody inmate from Two Rivers Correctional Institution in Umatilla walked away from a prison work crew assigned to Hermiston High School. The inmate was noted missing during a routine random accounting of inmates on the crew.
Todd Emery Seiber, 27, is a white male, 6'1" tall, 225 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing Prison Blues denim jeans and a blue chambray work shirt.
Seiber was admitted to prison in March 2001 and was due to be released in November 2002. He was serving time from Malheur County for theft.
The ten-man work crew from the TRCI Minimum Custody Facility was providing grounds maintenance for Hermiston School District schools.
The Department of Corrections Fugitive Apprehension Unit, the Oregon and Washington State Police, the Umatilla County Sheriff's office and various local police departments have been alerted and are pursuing all leads in the case.
The DOC Fugitive Apprehension Unit and the Oregon State Police are leading the investigation. Anyone with information about the inmate's whereabouts should call 9-1-1 or the Department of Corrections Fugitive Apprehension Unit at 503-945-9030 or 503-945-0976.
