Scuba STAR Network: Night Diving Safety Survey
The June/July Safety Survey is designed to ferret out the issues and problems that crop up when diving in darkness. If you’ve ever had a problem on a night dive – problems with lights or other equipment, difficulties in resolving situations that develop, issues with navigation, communication or surface signaling, or even bouts of anxiety or panic – we would like to hear about it.

Take A Safety Survey!
Ever had an issue with lines, reels, SMBs and lift bags? Tell us about it.

Divers Alert Network (DAN) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit medical & research organization dedicated to the safety and health of recreational scuba divers and is associated with Duke University Medical Center.

"During my professional career, I have always extolled the virtues of belonging to DAN and have encouraged all of my students to join DAN and to avail themselves of additional training that DAN provides. I have been extremely fortunate in my life to have been able to dive in many areas of the world... but DAN has always been in my back pocket and in my dive bag. My wife and I look forward to many more years of travel and diving and you can rest assured that DAN will be with us every fin stroke of the way! Les and Tricia Koob "
