National Coalition of Homicide Survivors Welcome to the National Coalition of Homicide Survivors, Inc. Website. of Homicide Survivors was founded at the 1998 Nova Conference in Orlando,
Florida. The founder, Gail Leland, is the coordinator of the Homicide
Survivors Victim Assistance Program in Tucson, AZ. The coalition became
a reality when a group of homicide survivors, program directors, therapists
and others interested in the welfare of homicide survivors joined efforts
to form the the new National Coalition of Homicide Survivors (NCHS).
