Meet the Staff

Dylan Nonaka, East Hawai`i Liaison

Dylan Nonaka was born and raised in Kona on the Big Island and graduated from Konawaena High School.  Shortly after graduation he joined the United State Marine Corps and deployed to Iraq in 2003 as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  After his service in the military he returned to the Big Island to attend UH Hilo and pursue a bachelors degree in Political Science and Economics.  While at the university he served as student government Senator, Vice President and President.  Dylan also was a real estate sales person with Property Network until joining the Governor's team as the her East Hawai`i Liaison.  Dylan currently resides in the Waikea area of Hilo with his wife Monica.

· Issue Marriage Licenses (Please call for appointment)
· Assist with public information
· Represent the Governor’s administration
