GLANSIS

Exotic, originally from the Black and Caspian Sea areas of Eastern Europe, believe to have arrived in ballast water. Benthic in the Great Lakes and tributary streams. Feed on bivalves, crustaceans, insects, and small fishes. Length to 10 inches, but usually less than 7 inches.

Benthic in the Great Lakes and tributary streams - prefer habitats with vegetative cover. Feed on small invertebrates. Length to 11 cm.
