You need to go to the source. Look at the source code of internal plugins that display windows centered on the screen. To get a list of such plugins, click on "ij.plugin.frame" in upper left frame on the browsable source code page. You will see that these plugins call GUI.center() method. To view the source for this method, click on "All Classes" in the upper left frame and then "GUI" in the lower left frame.
