There are > instructions for running ImageJ using the Sun SDK at: > > http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/docs/menus/plugins.html#compile 1st of all thanks. i've tryed but there is still some problem, i've downloaded the j2sdk-1_4_1_01-linux-i586.bin but the problem is if i use the syntax suggested: java -mx256m -cp ij.jar;/usr/local/j2sdk1.4.1_01/lib/tools.jar ij.ImageJ the answer is: bash: /usr/local/j2sdk1.4.1_01/lib/tools.jar: Permission denied as user and as root. The jdk manual say: -cp -classpath <directories and zip/jar files separated by :> so i've used: java -mx256m -cp ij.jar:/usr/local/j2sdk1.4.1_01/lib/tools.jar ij.ImageJ ImageJ run well but when i try run and compile it says that "... on windows and ..." do someone have an idea ? thanks paolo PS i can't use the Sun JDK 1.3 because there is a conflict with the libc -- Paolo Ariano Neuroscience PhD Student DBAU & INFM Turin (Italy) La liberta' in coppia raddoppia -- Tiziana S.
