Mostly, this is true. This does not hold true for stretches of freehand selections that are perfectly vertical or horizontal. In these cases only the first and last point of the line is returned in the array. So if you want to measure every point along the perimeter using getPixel(xs[i], ys[i]), you need to check for every serial pair of points that if x1 and x2 are equal or y1 and y2 are equal that there isn't a stretch of vertical or horizontal points that are being missed. I wrote a macro for somebody that tested this condition and then filled in the missing points, but I cannot find it to post it. Sorry. -Michael At 11:07 AM 07/14/04 +0200, you wrote: >This is from a macro that Wayne wrote (Mirror selection): > > getSelectionCoordinates(sx, sy); > >the arrays sx and sy contain the x and y value for each pixel of the >relection. > >Cheers, > >Pedro ____________________________________________________________________________ Michael Cammer Analytical Imaging Facility Albert Einstein Coll. of Med.
