Mary M. Ourisman
Ambassador, Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean
Term of Appointment: 10/11/2006 to present

Ambassador Mary Ourisman arrived in Bridgetown, Barbados on October 31, 2006 to assume her duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean - Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Mary Ourisman is an active community leader and a strong supporter of the arts. She enthusiastically served as a member of numerous boards of national arts and museum institutions and frequently chaired events that raised millions of dollars for the many causes and institutions to which she is dedicated.

Ambassador Ourisman received a Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Texas in Austin in 1970.
