| DOC Accounting Unit's a Shining Star |

The DOC Accounting team has won a Gold Star Award from the State Controller’s Division for financial reporting for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2005.
Every year, the State Controller's Division (part of the Department of Administrative Services), recognizes agencies for providing accurate and complete fiscal year-end information in a timely manner. As Fiscal Services Administrator Tami Dohrman notes, “It is always a challenge to meet the deadlines!"
Not only was the team recognized for DOC financial reporting, but also for reporting on the Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision and the Criminal Justice Commission.
“Although Accounting does the work to prepare and submit the reports, we couldn’t do it without the help of many people in the department who provide information like inventories and year-end receivables,” Dohrman added. “The Gold Stars reflect the teamwork of the Department, and we would like to thank everyone for their role in helping us succeed.”
