I have been attempting to write a plugin that reslices w/o interpolations the whole stack in non-oblique planes, ie, planes parallel to the sides of the displayed image. The Slicer.class does this, but my idea was to do it with a single click and without creating a new stack window, manipulations to which are not reflected in the original. In other words, I just want to change the views of the stack during editting. This should be useful for medical imaging. It shold also be much faster than the Slicer. In writing the code, I have come across a problem in constructing a new ImagePlus from the resliced ImageStack of many images. The ImagePlus.setStack() method seems only to replace the first stack of an ImagePlus. ImagePlus(string, ImageStack) constructor has the same problem. How do I create an ImagePlus from an ImageStack with many images? I am using v118. I would be very glad to know how to circumvent this problem.
