Subject: Re: interference filter pluginHere is a low budget approach. Presumably it would not be difficult to automate in a plugin. 1. Open the RGB image and make a copy with Image/Duplicate. 2. Convert the copy to a Hue, Saturation, Brightness stack with Image/Type/HSB Stack. 3. Using the Hue slice, choose Image/Adjust/Threshold... 4. Play with the limits (the "pass band") to isolate the pixels you want. I believe the scale is supposed to go: red, yellow, green, cyan, magenta, and back to red. 5. Choose Apply. In the Apply Lut box that appears, uncheck the last box, so that "Black foreground, white background" is not selected. When it asks whether you want to apply to all three slices, choose "No" (this does not matter). 6. Choose Process/Image calculator. Perform an AND between the original image and the copy.
