For example, I can use the "Video" > compressor, but not "None", and not things like "Photo/JPEG", "Motion > JPEG A" or "Motion JPEG B". If I try that, I get all kinds of errors > appearing in the ImageJ console that seem to relate to QT java > exceptions (I can reproduce them here, if someone wants). I get a "noCodecErr" error when I try to use the QT Writer plugin to save in "Motion JPEG A" format. I looked on the Web for information on OS X QuickTime codecs (coder/decoder or compressor/decompressor), but didn't come up with anything. You could try posting a message to the QuickTime for Java mailing list at "http://lists.apple.com/mailman/listinfo/quicktime-java". > Is this a specific issue with OS X? Any workarounds? I got the same error message on Mac OS 9 when I tried to save in "Motion JPEG A" format. I don't know of a workaround other than saving in a format that does work, such as "Sorenson Video". By the way, the OS X ugly text problem is fixed in ImageJ 1.28d. -wayne
