> What is the best method for including plugins when running ImageJ as an > applet? Upgrade to ImageJ 1.28c or later. Add the plugins to ij.jar and edit IJ_Props.txt to add commands that run the plugins. This can be done using the WinZip utility. 1. Drag and drop ij.jar on WinZip. 2. Click on "Add" to add each plugin. Make sure "Include subfolders" and "Save extra folder info" are unchecked. 3. Open IJ_Props.txt by double-clicking on it and add a command for each plugin. For example, adding 'plug-in08="Red And Blue",RedAndBlue_' to the plugins section adds a command that runs the RedAndBlue_ plugin. >Is there a way to structure the Plugins menu so that it resembles the Plugins >menu when ImageJ is running in stand alone mode? Add a submenu to to the plugins section of IJ_Props.txt and add commands to that submenu. For example, adding 'plug-in08=>"User_Plugins"' and 'user_plugins08="Red And Blue",RedAndBlue_' adds a command to the Plugins->User_Plugins that runs the RedAndBlue_ plugin. The applet at "http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/applet/" is set up this way. You can also add commands to other submenus such as File->Save As and Process->Filters. -wayne
