Subject: Camera calibration

Dear all, I am relatively new to image processing, but have already found much of use within ImageJ and its plugins. My application is 2-D measurement of the deformation of a plane surface, which has targets (particles) attached to it. I will probably make use of the Particle Tracker for this. What I would like to do is calibrate the camera used, so that images can be subsequently undistorted prior to target displacements measured. Has anyone any experience with this, ideally I'd like to do the whole thing in ImageJ - I have found some info and programming code for camera calibration elsewhere, but not in a form I can use (or easily understand) Any information would be gratefully received, Regards, Harvey Skinner University of Southampton Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering Highfield Southampton Hants SO17 1BJ Tel: +44 (0)23 80593492 Fax: +44 (0)23 80677519 Email: [log in to unmask]
