Perhaps there are small rotations caused by imperfections in the tracking of
the motor drive or small scales changes caused by chromatic aberration (are
you using a refractor?) It seems like either or both of these could be
handled by choosing two guide stars and using the scaled rotation option in
the Turbo Registration plugin by Philippe Thevenaz
