Multiple bridge closures starting Saturday, July 14

The King County Department of Transportation will be repairing and inspecting several bridges for a weeklong period beginning July 14. The work will make it necessary to close those bridges to traffic. The closure schedule includes:

  • FIFTEEN MILE CREEK BRIDGE, closed Saturday, July 14, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The work, which involves bridge deck repairs and repaving, will close Southeast May Valley Road from 233rd Avenue Southeast to Issaquah-Hobart Road;
  • PRESTON BRIDGE, closed Monday, July 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Southeast 86th Street will be closed from Preston-Fall City Road to 312th Place Southeast for a bridge inspection;
  • MEADOWBROOK BRIDGE, closed Monday, July 16, from noon to 5 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 17, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Meadowbrook Way Northeast will be closed from Reinig Road to Southeast Spruce Street for inspection;
  • TOLT BRIDGE, closed Wednesday, July 18, and Thursday, July 19, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Northeast Tolt Road will be closed from West Snoqualmie River Road Northeast to the east end of the bridge for inspection;
  • STOSSEL BRIDGE, closed Friday, July 20, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Carnation Farm Road will be closed from 310th Avenue Northeast to the west end of the bridge for inspection;
  • ALVORD BRIDGE, closed Friday, July 20, from noon to 6 p.m. for inspection. This closure will affect 78th Avenue South from South 259th Street to the south end of the bridge.
