Loaded Firearm Discovered at Toledo Checkpoint

While working the X-ray machine at Ohio's Toledo Express Airport, Transportation Security Officer David Arriaga discovered a loaded .40-caliber firearm in a passenger's bag on May 31.
Arriaga immediately called Lead Transportation Security Officer Mike Lewis and Supervisory Transportation Security Officer Robyn Feeback and law enforcement was notified.
The passenger, who is from Toledo, said he went camping earlier and forgot the gun was in his bag. He was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
All three employees were issued a letter of commendation for "attention to duty."
