Inside Transportation for November 2003

Inside Transportation is a half-hour program designed to help you understand and better use the transportation options available to you.  It is a presentation of the King County Department of Transportation Public Affairs Unit. The show airs on King County Civic Television (CTV) Tuesday nights at 5 p.m., Wednesday mornings at 5 a.m., and various other times during the week.

Plowing along. As winter hits the Northwest, find out how King County gears up for snow removal and how Metro transit keeps its buses on the road.

Photo:  Aviation High School Aviation High School. A new high school gets off the ground in King County, teaching all the required high school courses with a focus on aviation.

Low down on low floors. The newest buses in Metro’s fleet will be in service by the end of the year. They’re a step up in quality and convenience without a big step up for passengers.
