Inside Transportation on Civic Television (CTV) Inside Transportation for March 2003 King County Metro Transit is testing a new diesel hybrid-electric bus. Vehicle maintenance manager Jim Boon talks about the test results, including energy savings and pollution reduction. Project manager Todd Gibbs leads a walk-around tour of the buses special features. King County International Airport's main terminal building is in the middle of a major remodel. Take a tour of the construction with acting airport assistant manager Jennifer Lindwall and learn how King County is infusing functional works of art into the terminal building design. A generous donation to King County Metro Transit from a longtime rider will fund a special ACCESS van for senior citizens in Southeast Seattle and the Beacon Hill area.
