Overview of Regional and Global Data at the DAAC
The ORNL DAAC compiles, archives, and distributes
regional and global data (RGD) that may be used to improve our understanding of
the structure and function of various ecosystems and to enable prediction
across temporal and spatial scales.
In addition to the regional and global data held by the DAAC, we provide a search and retrieval system -- Mercury -- for obtaining regional and global data held by other data centers. The ORNL DAAC also provides links to data centers that offer Regional and Global Data. |
